Research and Planning: Shooting Schedule Completed

Filming within my group has officially been completed! It has taken us from Friday evening until this morning, I feel now we have filmed enough to create our teaser trailer. My group and I have certainly pulled our weights and worked well as a team, all we need to do now, is get our tasks for the trailer completed.

After this successful weekend of filming, Friday and Sundays film schedule, today has not gone quite to plan, so we are forwarding our Mondays filming to Wednesday, where we will get the filming completed.

Research and Planning: My Plan for next the week..

My plan for the next upcoming week is to have the filming done by mondays media session, also by mondays lesson have my entire blog up to date, ive caught up on a few posts and neatened them up, but there is still some posts that havent been finished, but i hope to have everything done by monday! once that is done, we will begin the editing but as that is Laura's main priority within our group she will be doing the majority of it, with help from Anika and I. Also as our group only consits of 3 people, with myself doing Mise-en-scene, Anika doing Cinematography, and Laura doing Editing, that leaves the Sound to be done for all 3 of us, so we will do some tests next monday dinner time, and hopefully have our choices done for when we have edited our trailer.

This is a Audition list i uploaded to facebook, to get more people involved within my filming, alot of people werent to interested but atleast it spread the word and has helped me and my group decide on who will be in our teaser trailer.

Research and Planning: Group Meeting

Today Anika and I completed our final draft of our Storyboard. We have decided on deadline filming dates of the 10th, 12th and 13th of this month, so within the next week, we will have to film with or without Laura now as our deadline is approaching fast. I feel that Anika and I can get this filming done, but hopefully Laura will be apart of it. I will do props and costume list for what we need to film and let Anika and Laura know what they should bring and wear, and I will do make-up aswell.

These are the dates and times that me and Anika have agreed on and plan on filming, due to Laura's absence she may not be able to film, but as we have a deadline Anika and I have agreed to these days! Hopefully we get the filming done for this session next week for definite, and the editing transitions can begin.

Research and planning: Costumes and props list

ANIKA'S COSTUME 
General casual clothing, nothing to over the top, but nothing too simple.. 

• Head scarf
• pink jacket
• jeans
• black pumps
• bag

I decided to keep Anika's clothing casual as she is only in the beginning of the Trailer, not much scary action happens then.
 
LAURA'S COSTUME
Something that perhaps could be ruined, but still keeping it casual.. 

• Warm coat
• Tights
• Boots

I decided on keeping it very damsel in distress and stereotypical if she is wearing girly tights and boots, as she plays a girl lost scared and hurt. 


BECKY'S COSTUME(ME)
Again.. something that can easily be ruined, but still casual..

• Leggings
• Boots
• Jumper
• WarmJacket

Again like Laura's costume i decided to be stereotypical girly, it looks more victimizing if the girl is dressed a lot more girly than if she was to wear trackie bottoms and a hoody.


BRENDON'S COSTUME
Quite cool and casual, like the geek sheek look.

• t-shirt

With Brendon being our "killer" guy, we need him to have the geek look but also seem like there is a cool other side to him, keeping him suspicious..

Research and planning: Auditionies

Anika, Laura and I held auditions for people to be featured in our film, we ended up deciding to go with Laura and I as we study drama at A2 , and to feature Anika in the beginning bit then all 3 of us have helped being in the film and with the filming. This location recces is for staircase, unfortunately you can not see the 'spooky staircase' as it is covered by trees, but I have filmed the location and will post that in another post.
 

































The location recces is when we filmed about in college, i just got a birds eye view image of the building rather than different images of the college plotted about.
